Work is progressing to rebuild the historic facade of the Trelawny Building on Congress Street, which was originally designed and built by Maine Gov. Percival Baxter. The brick and concrete lintels have been successfully restored, and the interior steel skeleton is concurrently under repair. The project is expected to be completed in mid-2026.
180 State Street: Historic Restoration Nearing Completion
The restoration of this three-unit historic legacy brick building in downtown Portland is nearly at the finish line after a year of dedicated work. All interior finishes are complete, featuring custom cabinetry, new windows, new flooring and tile. Occupancy is planned for December 2025 and January 2026.
